Upon arrival, a representative will meet and assist you at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman. They will handle all customs and immigration procedures, passport formalities, and visa handling. You will then be privately transferred to your hotel. If your arrival is before 9 PM, dinner will be provided. You will stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will take a panoramic visit of Amman, the capital, exploring its important avenues, the Citadel, and the Roman Theatre. Afterward, you will depart for the city of Jerash, a splendidly preserved Greco-Roman city and the most complete remaining city of the Decapolis. Next, you will drive to Ajloun, dominated by the imposing fortress of Qa'lat Al Rabat, which overlooks the Jordan Valley. This fortress played a significant role in the campaigns of Saladin against the Crusaders. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart from Amman to the east of the city to visit some of the most representative Desert Castles, which date back to the 7th to 11th centuries. These castles served various purposes, including caravanserais, pavilions, and military fortresses for defending their territories. Afterward, you will visit the Dead Sea, which is located 1,000 meters below sea level, making it the lowest point on Earth. There will be a possibility to bathe in its unique waters. You will then return to Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart for Madaba, where you will visit St. George Orthodox Christian Church and see the famous mosaic map depicting Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. Next, you will proceed to Mount Nebo, an elevated ridge that offers a panoramic view of the Holy Land and the Jordan Valley. From there, you will visit Shobak Castle, also known as Mont Real or Mons Regalis, which was built in 1115 by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem. It served as a stronghold in the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem. Finally, you will be transferred to Petra for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will visit Petra, a historical and archaeological city located in the mountainous desert of Wadi Araba. The city is known for its temples and tombs carved into the sandstone rock. The rock formations vary in color, ranging from pale yellow and white to rich reds and darker browns. The Nabataeans, who inhabited Petra, skillfully incorporated the natural colors and patterns of the rock into their architecture. After the visit, you will return to your hotel in Petra for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart from your hotel in Petra and visit Little Petra, also known as Beidha. This area served as a commercial hub for the Nabataeans and was an entry and exit point for trade routes. From there, you will drive to Wadi Rum, also known as the Valley of the Moon. You will embark on a 2-hour jeep tour in the middle of the desert, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia. The tour will include climbing sand dunes and exploring rock bridges. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp in Wadi Rum.
After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Amman. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Amman.
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to Queen Alia Airport in Amman for your departure.
